Amazon.co.uk Review Last year's game topped the league and now the all-new FIFA 10 is looking to defend its title as the number one football action game. More realistic than ever, this latest sequel has greatly improved artificial intelligence, ball physics and graphics. The best gets better as FIFA raises the bar on football sims | Player likenesses are more realistic than ever | The new dribbling system gives even tighter control | The manager mode has seen significant improvement | Brand new this year is the 360 degree dribbling system, giving you the most precise control ever. There are also changes to how the defensive line is formed, as well as improvements to crosses, freekicks and goalkeepers (who can now receive red cards). Naturally the game retains its hugely successful on and offline multiplayer modes, with new options and better stability for online play. The manager mode has also seen a massive update to make it just as deep and complex as the main game. With all these new features and more EA Sports are betting on FIFA remaining the champions for a long time to come. Key Features - Leagues better: The world's most successful football sim gets even better with improvements across the board, including physics, controls and multiplayer options.
- Dynamic dribble: New 360 degree dribbling control system allows for pixel perfect control of the ball at all times.
- Football focus: Newly improved artificial intelligence ensures teammates and opponents always move with a purpose and stay focused on the ball at all times.
- Beautiful game: Massively improved graphics, including better player likenesses, new crowd animations and new rain and snow effects that really affect the gameplay.
- Master manager: Greatly expanded manager mode, with a revamped experience point system and staff upgrades, a new interface and the chance to edit kit numbers.
About the Developer: EA Canada EA's largest development studio is responsible for some of the biggest brands for EA Sports, including the FIFA series, NBA Live, NHL and SSX. They have also just taken over the Fight Night franchise. Their offices employ over a thousand staff, with three separate production studios.

buyers comments September 6, 2010 none i expect the game maybe o.k but i could'nt get used to the controls to play this game properly
fifa 10 xbox game September 1, 2010 pammy007 brilliant game, sons spent hours on it, worth the money. Great
graphics, realistic
Dont listen to the peolp who gave it less than 4 August 27, 2010 JW18 Dont listen to any of the idiots who gave this one or two stars, they are just trying to find any problem they can find and make a fuss about it. it is similar to fifa 09 but has got some new improvements, the game play and manager mode(that i have never had a problem with and done up to 11 seasons on it) are still really addictive. be a pro is good at first but does get boring sometimes as your team never seems to be on top of play so u dont see alot of the ball if your up front. but other than that the game is top notch, by far better than pro evo simply because the gameplay, graphics and more teams to choose from. bring on fifa 11, hope they bring back create a team on it!!!!!!
Recycled Garbage August 18, 2010 Mr. J. F. Clarke (England) EA have literally conned everyone of there money. Why? Because this isn't fifa 10 at all, its 09 with a new kit.
It features all the same glaring problems 09 and 08 had but adds some more frustratingly stupid blunders to the line up. the only positive I have about this game is that finally, the tackles have been sorted out. By that I mean the opposition give away fouls more often and even red cards, something that seemed 'left out' of 09.. but don't get me wrong, the referee will ALWAYS penalize any slight contact your player makes with the opposition. ALWAYS. Don't expect a card for your players getting injured either.. or a free kick for that matter..
The Garbage:
Menu screens take longer to load. (transfers option lags)
Auto coach messes up your line up, formation, player roles whether its turned off or not
Professional difficulty is still useless. (See my review on Fifa 09)
The game refuses to let you play in manager mode claiming something is wrong with your line up
Opponents pull off rediculous defensive tackles, managing to spin 180 and blast the ball to their striker
players get injured within seconds
Saving is more of a hassle with personal settings cropping up for no reason
transfers feature player interest (sounds good, isn't. Just another way to not get the player)
The music.
If like me, you get bored winning by double figures on amateur, and by 5 on semi pro, you'd rather a challenge with professional, DON'T. Its worse than last years crud but with more unrealistic c*ck ups you wouldn't ever see in a real football match and guess what? they all happen to you. Players run into each other non stop, 1-1 with the keeper is impossible, strikers 'accidentally' run OVER the ball, passing (assisted or not) does not work, the list is endless. Even the achievements are rubbish, once again identical to 09, but this time you've A. got to do it over Xbox live (EA screws people who cant give them more money) or b. you need to do it on professional JOY. Don't worry though, even if you aren't interested in getting achievements, there's a new game mode! yeah its called live season and it only costs 400 - 800 Microsoft points! WOW BARGAIN. Now you can not only play against chavs worldwide, but also feature in leagues with them! What a friendly experience that would be.
And now, just for fun, some of the lyrics in the music featured in the games soundtrack:
UNTA BLUURH UNTA BLUURH NOMA BLEEEE NODMAD BLEEEE (X10)
IDDA IDDA RYTHEM INTA INTA LIKE DA INTA DINTA RYTEM, DA RYTEM O DA NIIGHT
SOLIIID GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD
German music. (If it aint rammstein, I don't want to know, enough said)
Several thousand Brazilian/Spanish festival music. Rubbish
WEGUE. WEGUE WEGUE WEGUE. That's the only lyric.
INTERNATIONAL LOOOOVE *SIIIIGH*
Countless referee whistles
daylight and some temper trap songs are as good as it gets.
remember that whistle song by peter bjorn and john? They're back with squealing children - WE GOT NUFFIN TA WORRY ABAT
and finally the worst of all - MVP KOMPA by WYCLEF JEAN. I suggest before buying this game, look up this song and try not to kill yourself. Multiple asian voices smacked with autotune. MEETOOSABAYWITH TEE PLAY BADBOY WITCHA SEH BLLUUUGHHH.
Fair enough, you can turn certain tracks off, listen to your own..
UNTA BLURH UNTA BLURH UNTA BLURH UNTA BLURH CONTA VEE UNTA BLURH UNTA BLURH UNTA BLURH NEW YORK NEW YORK CITY CITY CITY CHICA CHICA CHICA NAGA NAGEH NAGA NO GU.
AVOID THIS GAME.
Brilliant August 12, 2010 Mikey R This game has kept me entertained for hours at a time. When it first came out i played in contanstly and it was a big step up from the fife 09. The players look very realistic and the game play is incredable.
However one issue i had with it, is that its too easy to chip the goalie. For some reason they just sprint out and all you have to do is dink it over them and its and easy finish. Apart from that iwould recommend this game to everybody.
